I´ve been in Mexico most of my adult life, and I have NEVER heard or seen of a Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of Mexico. Someone is making up a story!!! There is no such thing in the Mexican schools, only the hymn, and it can only be sung and displayed with certain protocol requirements, and htis only about 3 or 4 times a year at events..Not in daily school life.

Thanks, rovenstinez.

What about the silly extended arm salute the video showed? What was _that_? Can you translate the audio from the video?

I must say, the few shots of the students, all of whom seemed to be Mexican, showed boredom and disrespect, considering this is an anthem and a pledge. The one boy had his left hand in his pocket the entire time, was jittering around in front of the class and couldn’t keep his arm up for the salute. The two others I saw looked resistant. One girl with her arm folded across her chest, another student slouched low in their seat did not seem proud or respectful.

If these students represent the de facto occupation of our country by Mexican anchor babies/illegals, Mexico has a problem.
