My hat is off to any young adult that can go off to a major college in the US and not return as corrupted and damaged goods.
Yes, and my hat is also off to his or her parents, early teachers, and/or clergy, for having built a strong foundation. But that’s not too common.
Well, I found Christ at university, but I don’t know if I count. I survived the grind, but it’s not easy.
Had a single dorm room, and moved out when I could afford a place of my own.
I would argue that it’s entirely possible.
