There is a more likely explanation, if one understands that the Presidents biological father was in fact Malcolm X, rather than Barack Obama Sr. The slight against the Obamas sensibilities was far more painful.

The facial and gesture match-up of X and O are astounding. If nothing else, it seriously draws into question the paternity of BO, Sr.
However, Caligula's "white grandfather" looks more like the father to me, with the mother being an African American woman of cloudy identification.
And the others are right. It doesn't much matter who Caligula's father was, he's a tyrant, regardless.
