Wrong. Your spreading a rumor that C4P has even owned up to. From C4P:
Update by Stacy: We have confirmed that Governor Palins Political Views designation on Facebook has always been listed as a Conservative. She has NOT recently made any changes to her Facebook profile. This was a rumor that got picked up by us. We apologize to Governor Palin for the error.
I think Palin’s best help would be flushing RINOs in primaries like our Dick Lugar here in Indiana, AND working to build a large majority in the Senate, no matter who is POTUS.
>I believe a Romney victory would actually be worse for the Republican Party than would an Obama victory. Im certain it would be worse for America, that they would be taken down a liberal road thinking they had chosen something different.
I think you should lay off the crack.
Here’s my answer: all it takes to be a good president is common sense.
There’s no such thing as good “governing” as distinct from any other sort of complex decision-making.
“Now, how does that record show any ability to run a country with a budget of trillions of dollars?”
If your standard for this “trillion dollar ability” is accurate, then there’s no reason to believe you have the experience merely to ask the question.
That is to say, working with larger or smaller numbers requires a only difference in mathematical calculation, not in the nature of practical application. A president simply has more people working under them than a corporate CEO.
(And of course, our goal is to decrease the former number.)
Let’s be honest. An individual with the amount of success in the private sector that Cain has, when combined with common sense conservatism, is very likely to be overqualified for the presidency. This is certain when you take into account current standards.
In terms of the battlefield, PD, I think it's better to face an enemy than a unrecognized traitor in your midst. The 2nd is deadly 24 hours a day, when the first only is deadly when in confrontation.
I ran a thread a month ago about pledging not to support Romney, and half the conservatives on FR agreed.
I'll not support Romney. Never. Not for any reason.
Years ago I considered myself a Republican. Then I shed that and called myself a conservative. Now all kinds of people are called conservative who I consider RINOs. So I call myself a Constitutionalist.
No need to "wonder" about the Perrys. God has already shown them the burning bush.
Or so says Anita.
Proven truth
Why?
Romney only recently converted from his Pro-Abortion position. Romney claims he will repeal obamacare, but it was his advisers who helped the Rats create it in the first place, based on his romneycare in MA. Romney has not been in favor of protecting marriage and has supported the pro-homosexual agenda in the past. I don't see a single thing in him that I value, so why vote for him if he is the nominee.
We have vetted Cain by listening to him on the radio for years and has always been consistant which by the way we have heard more from him than either of our senators and he is 10 times the conservative they claim to be.
If the GOP forces a RINO as a candidate, said candidate will lose. No doubt about it. But they’d rather lose than have a real conservative president. That’s how disgusting and evil the insider GOP elites are.
Hmm, interesting, Friendofgeorge, thanks for reporting.
I saw somebody post this info in a thread day before yesterday I think. When I read it I figured it was just a rumor to get folks stirred up. Apparently it ISN’T a rumor.
Things that make ya go hmmmmmm.........
I should have followed the link before posting. It was a rumor.
Check out JimRob’s thread if you haven’t seen it. You’ll like it, xzins!
