We were trained by the US Army to oppose the soviet Communist and all enemy foreign or domestic -Ft.Campbell KY 1969 .Cycles before mine and I suppose several after I was given an Honorable discharge nearly 8 yrs later —were trained as we were— to oppose the Soviet Communist. That training called on us to consider the Founding era -what worked then when we were weak , but had a vision for America. What the Founders relied for comfort, wisdom, and comfort was the supreme power of the Almighty God. —in a note to myself watching this excellent propaganda — relates “What do I believe? - Does anybody else understand and believe as I do? If I were arrested and taken out and shot dead tonight-for my beliefs— what would remain? —and to the side a note- the ONLY system Communism could NOT defeat was Christianity/and Judaism. Islam was not conquered by communism for it springs from the same source.
If I were to be killed tonight —so long as there is any Christian -or Jew who Believes in the old ways the enemy cannot win.
I read Peretti’s “This Present Darkness” back in ‘91, and I see now how communism has taken over by infesting the media and education systems.
Intellectual laziness and normalcy bias let it happen.
