Contrary to PC, the “Rich” get nad stay “Rich” because they adhere to behavior that isn’t self destructive or repetitive in making mistakes. These days, the “Poor” are people who are self destructive, lack impulse control, and are unwilling to behave in a manner appropriate to their age.

So the rich keep doing the things that made them rich while the poor keep doing the things that keep them poor.

The Poverty Pimps exploit the covetousness of the poor.

**As long as America’s very wealthy “poor” are lusting for other people’s money by demanding higher taxes for the rich, they will never break out of their cycle of poverty.**

There is no ‘poverty’ in the US. Everyone has shelter, clothing, food, hot & cold running water, heat, lights, labor saving appliances, transportation, health care and entertainment.

An elderly neighbor and I were reminiscing on our childhood. Several siblings shared a tub of water to bathe. Food was never thrown out but served in sandwiches or in a stew. Clothing was hand-washed and hung on a line. Holes were repaired & not donated to charity until outgrown. Water was drawn from a well. Heating from a wood stove and food baked in its oven. Walking was not an optional exercise - but transportation. Taxis & trains were a luxury reserved for family gatherings and funerals. Houses were small and well kept. Fresh vegetables came with dirt attached.

If either one of us had taken a 3-week old baby into the cornfield - it would be because we were gathering food for a meal....and well prepared to fight off angry mother pigs and stubborn cows. True story about my own Mom.

You missed a step in your calculation.

The United States spends 14.9% of GDP on welfare.

GDP = $14,200,000,000,000 ($14.2 trillion)
Welfare Spending = $14,200,000,000,000 * 14.9% = $2,115,800,000,000 ($2.1 trillion)
Poor People = 50,000,000
Welfare per poor person = $2,115,800,000,000 / 50,000,000 = $42,316.

The US spends $42,316 per poor person on welfare.
