The "shares" held by the Fed member banks confer no genuine, enforceable ownership interest but are in the nature of loans that are a condition of being a member bank.

What a brazenky arrogant and duplicitous answer! The TRUTH is that the Federal Reserve is NOT owned by the government OR the people, that it has a DE FACTO stranglehold on the economics of the country, that it controls every aspect of it's interaction with the government including the creation of the "laws" that "control" it, as well as who it's "federal appointee" overseers are (and they are invariably former Fed executives).

In addition, addressing the false "shares" of member banks specifically does not address the real shares of the Fed controllers who own shares of the member banks themselves - namely the Rothschilds, the Bank of England, and various other London banking houses.
