So you're adhering to the "fieldmarshaljd" doctrine quoted in Post #24?
Let me ask you this, do you believe the following is true?
******************************************************
Herman Cain: The role of government, in my view, is to maintain an equal balanced playing field for the citizens and for our society. Not to throw it out of balance.
3:30 into discussion: Herman Cain on John Stossel Show, Fox News
I don’t take the Cain bait and switch, babe. You had better go polish your Perry idol on the mantle. Slick Rick is going to need your added rubbing for tonight’s event.
I guess, CW, that you cannot tell the difference between a balanced playing field and government driving the outcome. A balanced playing field simply means no crony capitalism and special favors.
You are among the worst of the Perry spinners, trying to turn even the most basic of Cain's statements into an attack. And failing miserably in the process.
To contrast, here’s Governor Perry’s statement on the role of government:
Our cause is simple: to restore the balance of power intended by our Founders but forsaken by secular progressives determined to say what government will do for the people rather than allowing people to do what they can do for themselves. Our goal is to take power away from Washington and instead empower states, communities, and individuals, because Americas future greatness is inextricably intertwined with states pushing back. (p.16)
