So, what punishment should be meted out to our Government for these transgressions?

I support mandatory repeal of all gun bans and total elimination of all exemptions for Government in firearms laws.

There must be a settlement with the American Citizens for this wrong doing. We must have reparations for their criminal activity. Repeal of some of the gun laws on the books is a good start. Also outlawing any exemptions in firearms laws is a show of good faith.

I personally want to see all the laws that have enabled BATFE to slide down this road be gone! The Sporting Purpose clause, NFA, MG ban, all importation restrictions, any and all registration schemes, and all technical based laws regarding firearms must go.

Our Government OWES the American people this.

that would be a good start, and fair...

if i stole yer lawnmower and it was found in my shed, i think giving it back to you would only be the tip of the iceberg...then the punishment must be carried out to insure that i learned my lesson...

Dismantling the ATF is a logical outcome - with the consequence that most enacted regulations become unexecutable and unenforceable, quite possibly leaving SCOTUS little recourse but to overturn NFA, GCA, 922(o), etc.

I sure hope there’s some very smart and connected people on our side preparing to take advantage of this opportunity.
HINT.
