Below is my quick and dirty analysis of why Palin supporters should take heart.

The Palin phenomenon spurred some of the most activist and most intense supporters of a Conservative politician, that I've ever seen. Remember, the cause is more important than any one person. Take heart.

I disagree. I respect her decision, but she’s now yesterday’s news as far as I’m concerned.

She was only one of my 3 potential candidates but her endorsement will mean little to me. I’ll still be voting for who I like.

She did the right thing..

it gives us time (2016 or 2020) to convince Journalism to put on a clean pair of underwear and get rid of the pair with all those skid marks masquerading as journalists.

Her decision to not run hasn’t affected my immense regard for her in any way. In fact, the several hundred dollars I’d been saving to donate to her presidential run are now going to go to SarahPac.

Heck, if the GOP nominee turns out to be Romney, I’ll can almost promise I’ll ‘write-in’ Palin as my vote!

In addition to trying to get the tea party's ideas implemented, she needs a serious, actual job of power and consequences if she wants a shot at 2012 or 2016.

She had that with the governorship of AK. If there was a way to keep hold of that, she would have been instead on a glide path to destroy Obama and the RINOs right now.

frankly, i don’t care who Palin endorses.

the country needed her NOW.
it would take a person of EXACTLY her integrity and energy, to help the USA recover from Obama.

but,
it’s still a free country. she decided not to answer the call.

...and so, i frankly don’t care who she endorses.

Romney? i won’t even go to the polls.
Bachmann is a true conservative. but she can’t win.
Perry is soft on illegals, and outright friendly to Islam.
A true evangelical wouldn’t praise Islam and quote the Quran. He’s a fake. i don’t vote for fakes.
Cain is the ONLY candidate who is polling decently, who i will vote for.

Palin can campaign for, endorse, and vote for, whoever she wishes.

I respect Palin’s decision, but I will not help the GOP in any way shape or form. The GOP establishment let the media and the Democratic Party attack her over and over again. THEY DID NOTHING on behalf of a person who loves this country and who supports the Constitution. TO HELL WITH THE GOP, they don't care about this country any more than the Democrats do. As my dad would say, you made your bed, now sleep in it.

Will NOT vote for Romney, Cain, Perry, Paul, or any other current candidate. Period. Had Palin NOT been on the McLame ticket he would have lost by an additional 20-30 million! The whole field is PATHETIC! Not a true Conservative in the entire pack or morons!

Palin supporters should take heart from the fact that she wasn' t the only candidate/possible candidate running that is a conservative.

There are other conservative choices available. Who cares what their name is?

I sure hope you are right. I have this suspicion, though, that her terrific power was not because of who she was, but because of who she could be. The conservative movement does not lack for cheerleaders and analysts (Steyn, Levin, Malkin, both Limbaughs, the list goes on...), but she was the only one who had a shot at the Oval Office. She was my first, second, third, and fourth choice for the job, but I would not be surprised to see her fade away fairly quickly now. Then again, she has confounded her critics many times before, so who knows...

I like Sarah but I am not at all surprised by her decision not to run. I never felt she was really going to throw her hat in the ring. However, she did accumulate, and rightfully so, quite a following and she gave millions hope about having someone with guts and a voice. She certainly opened the eyes of a lot of people who, if in smokey back rooms of good old boy politics were fightened by her frankness, and others who relished it and her ability to bring the truth to light.

Now, I hope that her eyes and ears are open...and she endorses Herman Cain as she knows America needs an honest, sincere, diligent and mature leader. Whether her endorsement of him would be to his benefit or not, is to be seen. Some in the media would certainly use her endorsement against him. But, if she chooses anyone else, all her credibility for being a truly concerned American and staunch conservative will go out the window, IMHO.

Didn’t George Washington say he wouldn’t run for President?

Sarah will have some influence still, but it will diminish. Being a potential presidential candidate was a significant portion of her influence beyond her most ardent supporters.

Willow and Piper need her these next 4 years and I think that weighed heavily on her mind, whether or not it is said out loud. Her instincts were great yesterday and I have faith they will be great tomorrow. I am disappointed but trust in her judgment.

You didn't have to win Sarah, although I believe you would have.....but as a candidate you would have been hitting out for us everyday.....you would have had a hand in the fight, I am so afraid you have surrendered all your power.....they are no longer afraid of you taking over, and Bambi and the socialists will treat this as their win and America's loss: they have shown a decent person won't run.....

You could have lost and done more good than you will ever be able to do now as a "commentator" as long as that lasts......you have made a dreadfully incorrect decision. You had the world at your doorstep to fight for all of us who couldn't, and by your decision today you have demonstrated that a good and decent person can be "run out of town".......you should have declared and fought......it isn't winning or losing, it's BEING IN THE GAME......all the things you could have done and accomplished have been defeated by your actions today........you have turned you back on millions of people who were silently waiting to stand behind you......

Sarah Palin, you should change your mind and run......BE IN THE GAME

so you have the power to change the rules.......or you will be forever sorry......I walk with the Lord also, and I can tell you, what you could have done for He and all of us, has been greatly diminished by this action......America is crying tonight, you have broken her heart and made yourself and the tea party look like losers...undo this tragic mistake.

This is a great victory...for obama. This news will energize the left and put new life into obama's campaign.

There is nothing else in the current field to get excited about...a row of "John McCains".....
