You really need to do more research and quit listening to the sound byte junkies around here.

Most folks in Texas don't mind giving those kids in-state tuition. It was presented to the Texas Leg. twice with an almost unanimous vote.

As far as the TTC, it wasn't a secret and is now no more.

“Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) officials plan to announce Wednesday that, in response to citizen comments received during the environmental review of Trans-Texas Corridor-35, the department has recommended the No Action Alternative on the TTC-35 environmental study to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
This recommendation by TxDOT will effectively end efforts to develop TTC-35 through the Trans-Texas Corridor concept. Interstate 35 has long been recognized as one of the state's most congested highways, delaying travel for motorists and freight.

The TTC concept was introduced in 2001 as a strategy to address congestion. In January 2009, officials with TxDOT announced that the TTC concept was being set aside. Wednesday, TxDOT officials will explain the final steps in the TTC-35 environmental review process and outline the department's path forward.”

Just because a legislature does or does not pass something, it does not neccessarily support “Most People” have no problem with it. Look at Tarp, stimulus, ect. etc. and Obamacare. You think the WE THE PEOPLE supported that?

Sorry, but I guess I just run with a different crowd that thinks if you are not a resident, you do not receive the benefits.

How about anchor babies. That is what you get with illegals that you facilitate staying in the states. Is that OK with you? How about “Most People”?
