Rick Perry supported the modest Texas Dream Act, whose name has unfortunately been libeled by the Democrats' national Dream Act that is akin to the Texas law on meth and steroids, and the Democratic Party's version offers amnesty too. The Texas Dream Act simply offers children of illegal immigrants, who have completed at least three years of Texas high school before graduation, entrance to any Texas state school at in-state tuition rates. The law demands the beneficiary apply for full citizenship to the U.S.
In contrast, the federal Dream Act, which has yet to pass, provides scholarships and taxpayer direct subsidies and amnesty for all illegal aliens wishing to attend college in America.

I am trying really hard to understand why 95% of the other tough Texas Republican legislatures voted in favor of this law too.
We must be all wrong about this issue down in Texas, and the rest of the country doesn’t have a heart.
Joe
Take away all of the Mexicans, and no will be available to do the laundry or cook the food at restaurants in Texas, NM, AZ, or California. The American workers are still receiving more money from Obama’s unemployment insurance payments and don’t need the work.
A guest worker program makes sense. Legal immigration from Mexico is nearly impossible, hence the illegal immigration. Make the laws easier to abide by, and the illegal problem goes away, and we can all eat good food at Mexican restaurants in Texas.
Why don’t we just waive the laws for 100 million Chinese illegals to come here?
Just imagine all the FANTASTIC Chinese restaurants we’d have!
Heaven on earth for lovers of sweet & sour pork!
Whoop!
The problem is, I HATE chinese food. Let them stay in Bejing and stink up that place with sweet and sour pork (YUCK!)
” Your angry should be pointed to the Federal Government and not Perry. Perry, nor Texas, nor Texans, nor any other border state can do the job the Federal Government is suppose to be doing.”
No....BOTH !
LOL....what a friggin joke!
Perry for President of Mexico !
