You not knowing that you had already had your “15 minutes of fame” explains why you sounded so frustrated in some of your posts of late. I couldn't understand why you weren't more satisfied with your efforts!
Yeah, I totally had no idea! Way back in January of this year I had emailed him about my documents, and so he knows who I am.. not like that takes a lot of digging to figure out - sigh - and I knew from that he was working on a book, and I gave him permission to use what was on the internet if that would help any. He said thanks and was very respectful and polite. And that was the last I heard of it.
Because I have done some publishing myself (Wish I could say I have gotten paid to do it lol) I can appreciate how people can contact you, and abuse the privledge and what not. So though I could have contacted him again, I didn’t because I just do not abuse that sort of thing. Besides, I didn’t have a reason to bug the man.
At anyrate, I am damn glad that I made a difference! You have no idea how frustrated I have gotten in the past about it. It is amazingly infuratiating to tell the truth, back it up over and over and over again to only have people accuse you of fraud or document tampering and all the other BS that got thrown my way on the net.... Shoot, just refusing to scan them AGAIN has gotten me flaming mail! LOL
It is all worth it now. :) Hehe! I will go get a copy and sign it and make sure it ends up with my kids. I want to be able to say to them, ‘see, even the smallest person can make a difference! One person with the courage to stand up to power, can move a sitting president to do something he REALLY doesn’t want to do,’. Yep, it’s all worth it now.
