There certainly is something we can do about it! We have the power of prayer first and foremost. Many people are praying for a revival in our country. Of course we can turn the tide—against all odds we have the United States of America. We have the power of our voice and it starts with the individual and as more individuals stand together, we can have a movement.

Did you know that I, as a Knight of Columbus, could have been shot by the Mexican government in the 1930’s?

Well, yes, PRAY, as I'm sure most all of us on the thread do. I mentioned that the homo club has been reinstated at the high school here. There was some kind of a public meeting last night and a few of the pro-gay comments were quoted in the paper this morning. Things like "This is not a matter of the Bible, but a matter of the freedoms and liberties that should be provided to all students" -- senior. And a parent who is in the National Guard said regarding abolishment of DADT: "If we can do it, I'm pretty sure the young, impressionable minds here can do it". Keep in mind this is a fairly rural, small town area much more like flyover country than the coast.

I tell you, we've lost. I do tend to be pessimistic but this is clearcut. We know we will win in the end (post-world) but that could be a long ways away (or not).
