I still do not understand how police can allow someone to come for a vehicle that an illegal owns, that has no insurance and be allowed to drive the vehicle away lawfully ?

Santa Ana became a third world country long ago so this is no suprise..special treatment for illegals, shocker! That city is a cess pool..can’t tell the difference between Santa Ana & Tijuana, it’s disgusting.

The illegals will buy a car but register it under someone who is legal—usually a family member or friend. They want the delay so the ‘registered’ owner can come get the car before it’s impounded.
Many times the car is worth less than the amount of money it will take to get the car out of impound. If the car is impounded, the driver (illegal) will just give it up, and it will be auctioned off by the impounding authority.
