The one thing I sort of hold against G. Bush is the naivete of thinking, saying and acting as if these people are just like us. Want freedom, democracy; want the same things for their kids as we do. I do believe he was sincere, but so very wrong.
And no leader has the excuse of ignorance. 1,400 years of history with islam should remove the blinkers from any eyes. But there are none so blind...
