I seem to recall that recently GM and the UAW just signed a new contract. Part of the deal was another 10,000 union jobs created at GM. Maybe the UAW didn’t read the fine print where it said those jobs would be in China.
I work for a company here in KY - we’re building a new plant to make the motors for the Volt. Non-union. Probably about 150-200 jobs for the area. Not much, but it’s something.
