Disgusting. It is an insult to America, as well as to the dead and to their families.
Who on earth chose someone from the Andy Warhol Institute, of all things, to get involved with this? If you wanted a memorial for dead heroes, would you go to the Andy Warhol Institute for advice?
I suspect that the families were railroaded by the “experts,” who told them they were a bunch of bigots who didn’t understand the first thing about Modren Art.

There was some controversy about the World Trade Center memorial as well. The WTC memorial was supposed to have content of American history, a whole series of negative episodes of American history. I don’t know if the plans were finally reversed. I wonder if both memorials were conjured up by the same people. Are lefties taking over the government agency that oversees national monuments?
We Americans didn’t make any noise about this so the little Mecca is being built in Shanksville just like the Mosque at ground Zero.
