The racism charges keep coming at the Republicans.
The same day actor Morgan Freeman said the Tea Party was racist in its attempts to get President Barack Obama out of office, an MSNBC anchor said the GOP presidential candidates would like to go back to a time when women couldnt vote and slavery was cool.
Thomas Roberts comments came in response to former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorums answer during Thursdays presidential debate about gay service members in the military. Santorum said the repeal of dont ask, dont tell amounted to social experimentation and, if elected, he would re-instate a similar policy.

The Democratic party was and remains the party of slavery.
In the old days, the slavery was designed so that persons were brought to America against their will, bought and sold, and made to work in exchange for food, clothing and shelter.
Today, while the old practice of slavery is gone, the Democratic party pushes ignorance of business and investing, immorality, covetousness that drives people to want and feel entitled to material things they can’t afford, “socialist” and “communist” schemes of “communal property”, the practice of being free and easy with credit as well as government handouts.
Consequently, many people today are slaves to debt as well as an inability and lack of desire to take care of themselves. One can never accumulate anything, will pass on nothing (in property or knowledge) to one’s children and will live “hand-to-mouth” for one’s entire life if enslaved in this way.
Folks, get used to it. The party banckrupt of ideas is pulling out all the stops. BTW, blacks have been hit the hardest by Obama policies.
lol..good movie.
Too bad Freeman is a lefttard
I don't ever remember thinking "I wonder if that is true?" when they gave the news.
Very true.
I miss the 50’s with great passion.... and I don’t give a flip about what the small brain morons think of that.
Thomas Roberts.
Thanks Lazlo in PA.
Important note: In 1919, when both houses of congress resolved to approve the 19th Amendment, which was then sent to the States, BOTH houses of the 66th congress were MAJORITY Republican.
Republicans get the credit for women’s suffrage, NOT Democrats.
In the US House (vote was 304 to 89)
Republican (R): 240 (majority), Democratic (D): 192, Prohibition (Proh.): 1, and Farmer-Labor (F-L): 1
221 Republicans voted for adoption, 19 against.
120 Democrats voted for adoption, 70 against.
In the US Senate (vote was 56 to 25):
Republican (R): 49 (majority), Democratic (D): 47
36 Republicans voted for adoption, 8 against.
20 Democrats voted for adoption, 17 against.

Warren Buffett would rather see Obama polish his golf shoes than be President of the United States.
“an MSNBC anchor”
Hey crackah’, on yo’ knees. Hey crackah’, I said ON YO’ KNEES, SUCKAH!!!
What the! How the hell do these jack asses get away with this stuff! Excuse me, but what party fought the “civil rights movement”? What party are the clan usually affiliated with again? I could go on and on.
These are the same people that hire illegals and pay them way less than what they should be paying them. There isn’t anything wrong with that right? It isn’t African Americans in the cotton fields anymore. Now it’s Juan, Carlos, and Maria. They are the biggest hypocrites around!
Actor Morgan Freeman is wrong about the TEA Party being racist. We want President Barack Obama out of office not because he is Black, but because he is promoting statist, socialist programs that have worsened the US economy at a time the economy was under pressure due to what was a mild downturn. Obama’s policies have made the recession much worse, yet he wants to do more of the same socialism to “cure” our problems.
In 1863, Lincoln (R) freed the slaves. In 1933, Roosevelt (D) bought them back. Ever since it’s founding, at the end of the eighteenth century, the Democratic party has been the party of slavery.
In the 1950s, the clowns were on children’s television instead of in the White House.
Barack 0bama is intimately acquainted with the African slave trade. After all, his Muslim ancestors probably sold them.
I wonder...
With so many here at FR advocating ‘personal responsibility’ (a VERY conservative trait) and the less-than-sympathetic comments made when stories come across from down-on-their-luck people who have failed at providing for themselves and their families, it does make me thin....
Say you have an average Joe Six-pack who wasn’t very smart with his money and ended up hugely in debt. His job doesn’t allow him to make enough money to support his family and pay his debts. We no longer have ‘debtors prison’, so what can be done?
It’s not a stretch to think the following: Say you’re a wealthy conservative (there’s more than a few out there). You go to this debt-ridden Joe and say “I’ll get your debt paid and provide for your family on the condition that you work for me, doing everything I tell you WITHOUT QUESTION for 10 years” (or whatever suitably equitable time period the ‘owner’ would agree to). Upon completion of the allotted time, the debtor is ‘freed’ under the condition that the ‘owner’ would NOT help them out again and the responsibility is now on the debtor.
Or, what about these ‘Amish youts’ who are causing so much trouble? Instead of throwing their feral butts in jail, why not put them to work on “work farms”. For one, it could solve the illegal immigration problem, since we have an abundance of convicts with strong backs. Just use THEM to pick fruits and veggies...you wouldn’t NEED to hire illegals to do it. You could pay a fee to the Department of Corrections (for whatever state you’re in) that covers the cost of the necessary security.
What do YOU think? A horrid, evil thought...or a possible solution? Yes, I acknowledge that this is a rough idea and there would have to be safeguards put in place to avoid abuse, but it might be an idea that could work. Naturally, liberals will scream, but to heck with them.
thin = think
