More and more publications reporting a divorce possible.
Contra Costa Times
International Business Times
Christian Post
Etc....all in the last 24 hours
Why would you post a picture that has Palin and the Phrase “I can totally see Russia from my house” ?
Are you an idiot or a troll or what?
Tina Fey said that not Palin, you fool.
No question that that was a goofy fund raising appeal. I certainly would support Palin should she announce, and am waiting for that time enthusiastically I must admit, but to disparage said enthusiasm by Palin supporters seems kind of short sighted insofar that "your" candidate will need them should she choose not to enter the melee...
But then again, it's primary time and this is just part of the fun.
And what is their source?
Rumors based on BS do not become more credible just because they get repeated.
If I claim that Fred Flintstone is real and lives next door to me, you will figure me to be a loon. If I get a dozen publications to report the same thing, does that make Fred Flintstone magically appear next door?
What was the source of the birthers? What was the source that Bush was responsible for 9-11? Doesn’t really matter, some people will believe it.
As for who the actual sources are, who knows. Townspeople, Glen Rice, don’t know. I think a lot of the stuff is garbage, I also don’t believe it’s all garbage. Usually there are some kernels of truth to some of this stuff.
Would it surprise you if as a single gal, basketball player herself and sports reporter hooked up with a player? I’m in the sports industry and I can tell you it happens ALL THE TIME. An entire book could be written about it that would blow your mind. Does that make her a villain or something if it’s true? Nope, not at all. Unfortunately to some people, however, it will remove her from consideration. One of many reasons.
At the end of the day, I like Sarah a lot and hope she continues to do what she’s doing, which is be a thorn in liberals side. I don’t think she is presidential material and would guarantee Obama another 4 years in office if she is the nominee. Of course, I don’t think she can even be the nominee with the latest potential baggage that has come up, true or not...it’s baggage.
Something tells me that we will be fed another crap sandwich next year and told once again to swallow as in 2008. Palin will keep entertaining us and continue to be fun to watch and to throw in more surprises but I have have no doubt what she has decided to do about that already.
If in the future I start raving stuff like
“We have to support xxx or we all lose, America loses, the world loses, the universe loses. xxx is the only real conservative and only xxx can win. You must be a secret yyy or zzz supporter since you disagree with me”
it will be time for me to check into the nearest luny bin, It's your job to turn me in if I do :). But I dont see that happening.
When I boil it all down, it sounds like you are willing to let the media decide who your candidate will be.
I thought we learned that lesson in ‘08.
Think about it.
It's supposed to get a little crazy during the primaries. No padded room for you, there are simply none left.

I have little doubt myself that she is "already" running. I happen to believe that this nation needs a citizen, as opposed to a career politician at the helm right now. Will it save us? Don't rightly know, but I figure we have not a lot of choices left at this point.
But there ya go, I may be ready for that funny farm in your stead.
“Can’t win independents or moderates” huh?
Did you check the new McClatchy-Marist poll?
The biggest gain came for Palin, the former Alaska governor who hasn’t yet announced whether she’ll jump into the fast-changing race for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.
After trailing Obama by more than 20 percentage points in polls all year, the new national survey, taken Sept. 13-14, found Palin trailing the president by just 5 points, 49-44 percent. The key reason: She now leads Obama among independents, a sharp turnaround.
The Enquirer, at times, does actually do legitimate, journalism-style (ie, NAMED sources, actual documentation) reporting. Case in point: the John Edwards baby-daddy-using-campaign $-to-fund-mistress scandal. Many times, however, their stories are salacious, sensational, and devoid from reality (”George Bush occupied by aliens!!!” type of stuff).
This particular piece was culled from McGinness’ collection of tripe.
So, you had crap (Enquirer) based on crap (McGinnis) forming the basis for the pseudo-journalims pile of crap (that would have gotten an “F” in any J school in the country!) gracing the pages of the Daily Mail!
I have more faith in FRers. I believe there would be little play on our side for accepting at face value similar personal-life allegations based on crap regarding Hillary, Obama, or any of the Left’s stalwarts. When some do sometimes veer off into titillation-land, at least there are usually named sources and some remnant of journalistic standards to base theories on.
Re Palin, I honestly can’t see what else the MSM can dig up on her. They’ve dissected her professional life, read thru her 25,000 emails as governor, trashed her personal life, her kids’ lives, her parents/siblings lives, accused her of FAKING A PREGNANCY (how many times have you seen that line of attack in national politics), maligned her Downs syndrome toddler child (another lowpoint in modern “journalism”!), accused her of book burning, accused her of being a terrible mother neglecting her kids, accused her of not being able to perform her duties because she’s too devoted to her kids, continually posited that her stable marriage was crumbling, accused her of Naziism and racism (then turned around accusing her of having an affection for black men), every other ism, idiocy, mental retardation, stupidity, denigrated her due to a mistake made by 1 of her kids, accused her of cocaine use (unsubstantiated, of course!), claimed that this woman who had an 80+% approval rating (highest by far in the country) as governor before the misogynistic Obama smear machine went into full force was a terrible, vindictive and unpopular politician, etc.
Really.....what else can they “dig up”?? It’s gotten so ridiculous and desperate on the part of the MSM/Left that the accusations against Palin are frequently self-contradictory! The only thing left is that she’s been occupied by aliens (I’m sure we’ll see this story). There is no single political figure in this country (perhaps in the world) who has been more thoroughly vetted, mind you by an extraordinarily hostile press. And this has been going on for more than 3 years, pretty much continuously. I believe that, if she ran, all of the possible “October surprise” hit lines have already been exhausted! That does give her an advantage over other possible GOP candidates, on whom we will certainly “learn” much about as the campaign unfolds (and the ultimate nominee is sure to have a little taste of the MSM’s “Palinization” - just like McCain did once he won the nom and went up against Hussein).
This woman, who is “toast” in your eyes, continually polls higher than 5-6 other GOP candidates, and recently made up the (mythical) polling difference between her and Obama, torpedoing the myth of “unelectability”. She indeed might not run - with the trashing of her family, who could blame her for just throwing up her hands and taking her commentator/speaking fees and enjoying life in the Great North with her family. Yet, she keeps coming back, optimistic, with a smile on her face, able and willing to get into the fight. Again, I don’t know if she’ll take the presidential plunge, but I’ve contended that she’s been “running” since Election Night 2008 and that the delays, etc are basically strategic (as she will not run a “traditional” campaign where the GOPer curries up to the “big money” folks who supported the Bush campaign and whom Romney and Perry have been courting). One may suppose she’s just a political “tease” ; another view might be that she’s staying relevant, in the fray, commenting on all the issues, putting forth policies, etc all while not having to spend millions of $ and be shackled by FEC regs.
So, I disagree strongly with the “she’s toast” prediction - especially if this stems from the MSM’s historically vitriolic attack on her. If we on the Right side of the aisle and of history (IMHO!) accept this, we’re really giving these jackals a victory they truly don’t deserve.

Sorry for the double post (no coffee yet!)
Oh, Fred, one other thing...
Re your political analysis and prognostications (outside of Palin-ville): Saw this little diddy on twitter this morning:
“Perry’s “Ponzi scheme” plays well w/ FL GOP voters. Latest FL Q poll: By 60-14% R’s say “Perry wants to fix Social Security.”
So, as conservatives, let’s not let the jackals win by forcing us to swallow their crap sandwich and nominate yet another lackluster, “reach across the aisle”, traditional pol who will spend us further into oblivion, add more entitlement nonsense, etc. Didn’t we just go through that w/ McCain?
Fred and all the others who have bought into the MSM/Left-generated destruction of Sarah Palin:
It’s another red-letter day on Twitter. Here’s a link to a MUST-READ piece on Breitbart’s Big Journalism site:
http://biggovernment.com/abreitbart/2011/09/22/explosive-email-shows-anti-palin-author-mcginniss-random-house-likely-published-literary-hoax/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+BigGovernment+%28Big+Government%29
Essentially, the piece quotes an email from the slime-meister McGinnis to another hysterically anti-Palin slime-mesiter bemoaning the fact that there is no “there there” - nothing to substantiate either slime-meister’s salacious attacks on Palin’s personal life. Email was written in January 2011. If we don’t strongly fight and let these journalistic “terrorists” help mold the shape and direction of our country through these tawdry tactics pulled from the schoolyard, we really deserve the destruction of the country that they are helping bring about.
It says don’t blink just wink it says nothing about Russia or Tina Fay.What on God’s green earth are you talking about?
Bill Murray’s birthday...
” Groundhog Day “
Not really...I vote on who I think will do a good job and get things done. In the last 6 elections, I voted Democrat for President zero times. Then again, I voted Republican only twice. I didn’t vote for McCain, didn’t vote for Bush’s father, didn’t vote for Dole, etc, etc.
I don’t think Palin has the chops, quite frankly.
I know this, in years past I didn’t vote for someone because they weren’t conservative enough. I won’t make that mistake again. It’s that kind of thinking that gives us Obama. If it’s Romney, I’ll vote for him. If it’s Palin, I’ll vote for her...I just don’t think she gets there. If it’s Perry, I’ll vote for him.
“It says dont blink just wink it says nothing about Russia or Tina Fay.What on Gods green earth are you talking about?”
Maybe you had better look a little closer.
I won't.
I will say "no!" to all socialists, Marxists, and fascists - including the ones in the GOP.
As long as Fox is still paying her, she will not announce. If they go a week w/o having her on at all...I’d be staying tuned.
