So, do you think that immigrants to the American Colonies in 1700 would have been happy to give up 50 OR 60% of their income to a government? Do you think that was their definition of either freedom or shoot... even a good deal?
I think not. I think that immigrant would likely have stayed where he was recognizing a worse tyrant when he saw one.
Why don't people recognize this today???

He will pretend to be a presidential candidate with no record. The first term never happened.
Good luck with that.

His tactics are based on:
1. Greed
2. Fear
3. Envy
That also just happens to be pretty much what evil or the devil stand for.

Not surprising at all being that it's the only thing Barry likes to do. Obama is the perpetual candidate because absent the applause and adulation he withers.

Der Fuehrer will base it on gross income which means that small businesses that have an income of 1 million BEFORE taxes, payroll and other expenses are met will be raped, pillaged and burned. Any new tax rates will have little to no effect on the Buffets, movie stars, the sports stars and other elite who support him and contribute to him. “We protect and shelter our own while screwing the rest.” has always been a major tenent of the democrat party.

If his proposals are successful, they will only accomplish one thing, a temporary improvement in the employment numbers that will last long enough to get his re-elected.

I see that you're quite a prolific writer. Maybe you could tackle the subject of co-President Timothy Geithner sometime in the near future:

"...But directly-insubordinate behavior is an entirely different thing. No chief executive ever tolerates that from anyone. Ever. It is cause for immediate dismissal each and every time, and that's exactly what happens if a subordinate puts such an opinion into practice. It must, because without that sanction the chain of command immediately and irrevocably collapses..." - Karl Denninger

0bummer is calling his tax the rich plan the “Buffet rule”
Guess he doesn’t know we know that buffet has spent millions and has ongoing legal suits with the IRS on his tax bills. Hes had like 20 attorneys working on it full time last 10 years or so.
I don’t hold that against Buffet but it makes his statements about not paying enough taxes look pretty disingenuous and self serving then to base policy on such statements, well then we get to the level of 0’s brinkmanship and political gaming playing.
