Since Texas Gov. Rick Perry entered the contest for the Republican presidential nomination one month ago, he has rocketed to the lead in the polls. But that doesnt impress MSNBCs Joe Scarborough in the least.
On Tuesdays broadcast of Morning Joe, Scarborough offered his analysis on why Rick Perry wont be viable in six months, starting with his stance on Social Security.
[A]fter listening to him talk last night in detail, I do not know how many levels there are to Rick Perry, Scarborough said. But I do know this
The phrase Ponzi scheme is not Rick Perrys biggest problem. The word that hes going to have to wrestle with during Republican primaries, let alone a general election, is the word unconstitutional, because when you call Social Security
unconstitutional
this is about as funny as anything I heard on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

It would be nice if there were a way to officially revoke Joe Scarborough claim on conservative credentials.
Come back Joe. It's not too late.

The election will be about jobs, not what’s in Joe’s head.

There is a way. Remind folks about his dead intern problem that was swept under the rug thanks to 911.
There is a reason this dude resigned in a hasty fashion from office.

But SSI is a Ponzi scheme. Perry needs to repeat that loud and clear.
The biggest strike against him is the immunization program, which was really contradictory and ill-considered.
The field was always Perry/Palin/Romney - all the attacks on Perry are pure Romney, trying to avoid his own sorry record.

He is a sellout. The show used to be somewhat watchable. It became Joe milking his past way too much and Mica rolling her eyes at anything her father would disapprove of.

You’re being too kind to Joe. It IS too late for him.

No. That is a sideshow. The biggest issue for Perry is what to do about illegals and the border, buit that is also the biggest issue for all of the others. Note that they are all really dodging the issue of what to do about the illegals who are here.

Joe, back in 2004 you were convinced John Kerry’s selection of John Edwards would give him an 18-point lead over Bush. You have the analytical skills of a garden snail, so STFU.

One really has to wonder what forensic evidence of Joe’s dead intern the Left has in its possession to keep him on such a tight leash. Video? His DNA? Must be powerful stuff.

Scarborough know he's sold his soul already.

Joe Scarborough is a part-time conservative, full-time inside the beltway, establishment suck-up and he ABSOLUTELY HATES Rick Perry and Sarah Palin. He never misses a chance to attack them and dump on them.
He has too much riding on being accepted as one of the crowd at MSNBC. Besides, from all that I have heard, he is another absolute jerk, like Bill O'Reilly, nasty to all of the people who work for him, arrogant and not terribly bright.
I watch Morning Joe, because it is the only semi-intelligent political discussion program on in the morning. I wish Fox would change from their idiotic Fox and Friends to a format similar to Joe--with a predominantly conservative group of journalists and guests. I hate banal, mindless jabber and that is all I have ever seen on F & F.
