Hire Our Own
Whitaker On Line ^ | 9/8/201 | Bob Whitaker

When Linda Evans announced that she would get no more parts because she was an outspoken conservative, National Review charged in to defend Hollywood against any charges of discrimination. Nobody gets more excited defending the left than respectable conservatives do.

The fact is that a Marxist MUST hire only his own kind. Lenin never had to do a day?s work. Revolution was a full-time job, and revolutionaries were REQUIRED to marry for money when the Party needed it.

It is amazing what little even those who talk about ?a Marxist analysis? know about Marxism.

Marxism states as it first principle that EVERYTHING is political. Any power you have is to be used to advance the Party.

Hiring entirely by merit has the same place in the moral scheme of a Marxist as performing abortions does in the moral scheme of a conservative Catholic.

Carleton Putnam was the founder of Delta Airlines. If we had been Marxists, he would have given my aviation negotiations career a huge boost, since he knew I had been on our side of saving our race for decades.

The side that takes its politics seriously wins.

n fact, I believe that my being in his industry would be a factor against giving me any recommendation, so he could prove to himself he was impartial.

In almost every industry you are not allowed to use company money to push a political cause. Yet all through the years I have heard leftists announce that they were careful to put a ?social message? into their work.

Obviously my question was, ?Why the hell would I want to go an entertainment which is political??

That was before I understood Marxist morality. One who says that wants the other Marxists to know he is doing his part.

They probably smile when they see National Review kissing liberal ass on their obvious political hiring.

But for once I think the leftist morality is the correct one. If one side hires for their side and the other side brags about screwing its political comrades, there is almost no way, in the long run, that the group that thinks politics is a game can possibly win.

Not-for-profits are filled with marxists. It's a rare marxist who can work anywhere else.

If this refers to Linda Evans who was on Dynasty a generation ago, I’d guess her primary career problem is she no longer is a young babe. Movies aren’t made for old people any longer, so not many roles for an actress in her mid-60s. And when there are such parts, Meryl Streep has dibs. It’s a lot more dangerous to get in Meryl’s way then it is to merely be a conservative. She will cut you.

Linda can’t complain though. She had a great run. I believe she get naked with Joe Don Baker once in “Mitchell”.

Liberals can afford to be political all the time because they do not need to hold real jobs, they do not need to be productive and they do not think they have to spend time with their family.

Conservatives (and productive citizens) put family first, career/success second and then get around to politics if they have the time.

I'd like a link to that supposed defense before I believe it.

I didn’t write the blog, Bob Whitaker did, so I can’t give you that link. I can give his conservative credentials.

Bob Whitaker has “been there and done that” in the world of politics. His unique perspective is insightful and vital. We guarantee that he will make you think.

Robert W. Whitaker was born in 1941 and reared in South Carolina, went to the University of South Carolina and the University of Virginia Graduate School. He has been a college professor, international aviation negotiator, Capitol Hill senior staffer, Reagan Administration appointee, and writer for the Voice of America. He has written numerous articles and three books in his own name. Bob resides now in Columbia, SC.

Bob entered the university of South Carolina at age sixteen and was a Political Science instructor at the age of nineteen. He then received a scholarship to study for a PhD in economics at the University of Virginia. Two of his eight graduate instructors there later won Nobel Prizes in Economics.

Both future Nobel Laureates left the University of Virginia while Bob was there. Bob?s second reader for his dissertation, James Buchanan, was “forced to leave” when a new dean took over who had vowed to “clean out that nest of right-wingers in the Economics Department.”

Bob was a professor of economics but was unable to complete his PhD because his field of specialization, Public Choice (the field in which the two graduate professors later won Nobel Prizes) was disliked after the faculty had been purged.

Bob then became involved in political activism and intelligence work. This is a blank period in his biography.

Bob returned to America in 1972 to become an aircraft negotiator in 1972. During the next few years he set up press conferences and marches of thousands of people in populist protests against busing and objectionable textbooks. He arranged a joint march of thousands of working people from South Boston and Louisville and West Virginia coal miners protesting objectionable textbooks.

For the first time, these people marched against their joint enemy.

He also helped arrange for the Independent Truckers to park their rigs on bridges into Washington at rush hour to protest government discrimination on gas prices in favor of the big trucking companies.

Bob worked with William Rusher, publisher of National review, in turning the so-called “Wallace Democrats” into “Reagan Democrats.” This was a move that respectable conservatives opposed vigorously. Bob?s 1976 book, A Plague on Both Your Houses, attacking both the liberal establishment and the watered-down Republican opposition, was a milestone in this campaign.

Despite their strong objections to Bob?s political opinions, Publisher?s Weekly and Kirkus gave the book excellent reviews and the Library Journal recommended it for purchase.

Bob worked on Capitol Hill from 1977 to 1982. During that period, two of his most personally gratifying accomplishments enjoyed today by all of us were saving the Hubble Telescopes and preventing the Internal Revenue Service from imposing racial quotas on private schools.

Despite his criticism of Ronald Reagan in A Plague on Both Your Houses, Bob was a Reagan appointee in charge of all civilian security clearances and federal staffing.

In 1982 Bob conceived and produced an anthology for St. Martin’s Press, The New Right Papers. It explained the strategy which led to Reagan?s 1980 victory by the people, including Bob himself, who made it a reality while conservatives dithered.

Once again, despite their strong objections to Bob?s political opinions, Publisher?s Weekly and Kirkus gave the book excellent reviews and the Library Journal recommended it for purchase.

Bob left official Federal service in 1985 after a very short time with the Voice of America as a writer. Since then, among other places, he has been in Central America and Russia.

Bob was officially retired in the 1990s. From that point he writes, in his own words, “What I damn well please.”

His third book, Why Johnny Can?t Think: America?s Professor-Priesthood goes into much more than just academia. He could NOT get this book published. One small publisher thought it had a great opportunity to get a major writer and accepted the book.

READ it. Not only did they back out of publishing the book, they told Bob they were destroying all correspondence relating to it.

That is the book Bob wants to talk about with you now.

No one would think of firing a Liberal for being a Liberal, but here in Central Florida a teacher is under investigation for believing in God.

It isn’t just not for profits that are full of Marxists. I think that the human resources departments of a lot of companies are filled with Marxists as well.

I couldn't agree with you more. They function like the Political Officer in the old Soviet Union ensuring loyalty to the Revolution (in fact, loyalty to the state) and being a low-level menace to keep everyone in line.

My late father was for many years a benefits director for Fortune 500 companies having begun in personnel decades earlier. He was eventually phased out--too old, male, etc. He said he was glad to get out of there as it was never the same after they took the 'person' out of personnel and called it 'Human Resources.'

Thanks Oratam, it is reassuring to have a little more substance given to suspicion.
