The NAACP was set up by Socialistic Whites in 1909, to sabotage the work of Booker T. Washington, in his efforts to upgrade the lot of the Southern Negro by education & self-improvement, personal responsibility, etc.. While control was later transferred, the NAACP has always been a Fabian Socialist organization, promoting racial confrontation, not good-will. Once one understands that, the endless antics--such as that here described--make a lot more sense.

See, for example, How To Recognize The Bigot In The Argument.

I do like how this song is made with the surfer’s words.

That makes sense: ‘Colored people’ does appear to be a term that (superior) ‘non-colored’ people would have coined....as opposed to the term ‘Negro’ a self-identity used by descendents of slaves.

IIRC - in the South there was no offense in using the term; ‘Negro’ - only the derogatory ‘nigger’.

Negro was then replaced by ‘colored’ and then ‘black’ and then African American....’bro’ being the newest PC term.

I have an idea - use ‘fellow Americans’.

True, but folks in normal conversations even with blacks used the word "colored". For some reason a lot of white Southerners had a problem pronouncing "Negro"--it came out sounding like "Negra" or "Negruh" but was not considered derogatory like the real "n" word.

The NAACP long ago abandoned the goal of advancing "colored people". Their only goal now is to try to convince blacks they are relevant by continually playing the race card. That way, they don't have to do any real work.

If the NAACP wanted to actually advance "colored people", they would work to solve the biggest problems facing the black community. Not too hard to find out what those are, and they have nothing to do with racism.

The National Association of Always Complaining People

I'm tempted to change my tagline, but I'm sure that would be considered racist.

My teen son and his friends use the term “bro”. I actually thought it came from a LAX term? Either way, I’ve heard white kids use it and black kids towards all other races... sort of like the term “dude” use to be used.

Rodderick Coffee, president of a local chapter of the NAACP, stated, “At the conclusion of the game, some of their students and parents put up a sign that we believe was racial intimidation, ethnic intimidation.”

OH, HE MAD!

Didn’t you get the memo? Only blacks can say stuff they start.

Actually, that's a general rule for ethnic jokes, regardless of the group involved.

I’m so tired of it that my reply is now, “Get over yourself. You aren’t the center of the universe.”

I’ve had it.

According to the NAACP, shut up crackers, we are the only ones with free speech, even if it involves violence against all you whites....we OWN certain words, don’t you dare say them...
