There is a very specific accent here but that ain't it. Generally its called "Inland Northeastern" but there is an even more specific southeastern Michigan / Northwestern Ohio accent that resulted from the influx of southerners in the 40s and 50s.

making the slurry lush impression was OK for a short time, but, as he often does, carried it on much too long. I finally cut the car radio off for 5-10 minutes but he was still doing it. He has an unfortunate tendency to carry on like that with uninteresting topics.

They democrats have almost totally ruined the State of Michigan.
Everything they touch turns to garbage. It amazes me how people will watch the decay and turn around and vote for them anyway.
