It is expected that this debate will cover the social issues, and Sen. DeMint will be among those asking the questions.

Here are some more viewing availabilities as given at the website:

[T]he American Principles Project announced that CNN will broadcast the “American Principles Project Palmetto Freedom Forum” live in Columbia, S.C. on Monday, September 5 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. The event’s unique format will cut through the talking points and put the candidates to test in a crucial early nominating state. The website www.Townhall.com will live-stream the event, including a roundtable immediately following it with analysis from the three panelists.

It should be good!

“The event’s unique format will cut through the talking points and put the candidates to test in a crucial early nominating state.”

This just might be the most interesting debate so far!

I wish it were promoted more with the media.

Sun, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you did have all that info in your original post.

I had read a whole post over at NRO today, discussing Robert George’s part in the debate and they didn’t give any link to find out how to watch it!

Isn’t that silly?

So, I posted over there too, don’t know if their sleepy mods let it through the gate yet.

That’s what was in my mind when I read your post.

You are right, this debate should get more attention. Maybe Obama could schedule a speech to coincide with it?

“You are right, this debate should get more attention. Maybe Obama could schedule a speech to coincide with it?”

lol, that would do it!

I was disappointed that Santorum wasn’t invited, because he’s so good on the social issues, but he was too low in the poll numbers.

No problem with posting the same info. twice, in case it was missed the first time.

Contact your email list to tell your friends about this debate, and you might also want to contact some online, or print, conservative newspapers.

All of the candidates should have said they will not participate in a debate that Politico is involved in.

... was disappointed that Santorum wasn’t invited...

So, who was invited to debate; who is going to be there? I couldn't see a list on the website. The article tells the reader who will ask the questions, but not who will be asked. I would like to see Santorum, along with Cain, Gingrich, and, of course, Bachman. I pretty much know what the front runners...Perry and Romney will say, and where Ron Paul stands on issues. So far I am not enamored with any of those three.

We need someone who does not echo the same old tired rhetoric. I would like to see a candidate who has new ideas, good experience, demonstrated leadership qualifications, a SOLID stance on at least most issues, and confidence building abilities that will inspire. I want to see a candidate who has a real spark that can ignite all voters including: solid Republicans, on the fence voters, Independents, TEA party advocates, and soured Dems. I just don't feel that Romney and Perry are exciting enough to make people listen or that they have an ability to make voters trust their word. They have been too contradictory in their political careers, IMHO.

I hope, somewhere in the field of candidates that person exists and soon bursts out and forward to gain the lead and prove to voters that he/she can out-fox the Obama machine and lead our country out of the darkness that the liberals/socialists/marxists/communists have brought upon this country.

Mark Levin was saying that even Fox News acted a lot like MSNBC with their debate. I think the Labor Day debate will be the best one so far, because it will be run by strong conservatives, including social conservatives.

Here’s part of my email from CitizensforMarriage.org on who will be debatting:

“Hosted by the American Principles Project in Columbia, South Carolina the debate will feature presidential frontrunners and NOM Marriage Pledge signers Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep. Michele Bachmann and Gov. Rick Perry, joined by Rep. Ron Paul, Businessman Herman Cain, and former Speaker Newt Gingrich.”

I hope there’s a transcript of the debate, too, for those who might have missed it.

I was listening to the top of the hour WABC radio news, and the announcer mentioned the Labor Day debate, and called Sen. Jim DeMint a king maker. That, he is.

DeMint once joked about not being good looking enough to run for president, but he has been instrumental in getting some really good Tea Party candidates elected, imo.
