It appears Palin and Perry are on the same wavelength regarding no corporate taxes. Perry was stating this 3 weeks ago.

I have seen estimates as low as 2000 and as high as 3000.

The link doesn’t say what you claim it says:

The newest GOP candidate, Governor Rick Perry (R-TX), went further today in calling for a zero percent tax rate on “repatriated funds.”

The liberal author of the article that quotes “Mother Jones” and “Think Progress” then goes on to write:

If Perry’s proposal passed, it would be more accurate to say that Perry simply wishes to do away with the corporate tax rate as opposed to simply lowering it.

That’s the convoluted interpretation of the liberal author.

Nothing like what Palin proposed. Perry’s handlers would never let him be so bold. The people who pay their salaries wouldn’t stand for it.

They’re are both talking about no taxes for corporations, which is an idea I support.

Yes, the discussion in the video is about “repatriated funds” which refers to corporations, right? This in an effort to create jobs, and that is what Perry is running on - jobs. So would it not be right to assume that to create more jobs, he would not tax any corporation? Believe me, if it would create more jobs, he would be for it. You may disagree with me, but jobs is what he is running on.

I stated what the article stated and what you stated it said, which Perry wants no taxes on corporations.

“If Perry’s proposal passed, it would be more accurate to say that Perry simply wishes to do away with the corporate tax rate as opposed to simply lowering it.”

Didn’t Sarah call for no taxes on corporations? To me, that is what that quote says Perry is saying.

This article goes further in demonizing Perry for suggesting no taxes for corporations.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2011/08/17/rick-perry-thinks-a-zero-percent-tax-rate-on-corporations-will-get-this-economy-working-again/

The degree to which candidates want to tax or not tax corporations has been in discussion for awhile.

And I support not taxing them.

No completely different. The article describes Perry’s call for zero tax on expatriated funds “no taxes for corporations”. That is a bizarre reading of what Perry called for. Like you said the article is a liberal hit piece on Perry.

Palin called for the end of all corporate taxes, all corporate welfare and all corporate loopholes.

A much bolder and different thing. Honestly I wouldn’t bother you about this if you were just claiming Perry also spoke on corporate taxes or such.

Implying she stole his idea though is false and demands a correction.

I didn’t mean it to imply that she was stealing it - just that he had spoken of it too. If that is how it came across, then I apologize.
