This quote keeps popping up here. If one reads Perry's description of Mexico, he is basically calling it a cockroach infested sewer.

It means we have addressed pollution concerns, made substantial progress in stopping the spread of disease, and rid our crossings of illicit drug smuggling activity.

Not very complimentary to the Mexicans, is it?

care to explain why Perry would call for trucks from that “cockroach infested sewer” to travel American highways then in the same speech?

You need to read the whole speech which i have posted and linked too. Perry was doing no such thing. he praised NAFTA, called for Mexican trucks to be free to travel the USA. The speech was a call on a way to get to open borders with Mexico. and an embrace of Fox's vision for a North American union. of course less than a month later 9/11 occurred and the talk for a NAU was quickly downplayed by all those involved. This speech was also the first call by Perry for his trans Texas corridor.
