From a security point of view, this would make sense no matter who the president was. Trying to clear the highways for every inch traveled by that stupid bus with Bummer on board would be a logistics nightmare. I’m glad Bummer did not literally try this.

From a security point of view he shouldn't be golfing. You know how many grassy knolls an average 18 hole course has? Every square inch of the course has to be under surveillance.

They did this for Clinton, Gore and Kerry. I had a relative driving buses in those campaigns.
