I miss my localized telethon that raised funds for a disabled child’s camp. It was fun to watch.
The MDA affiliate in Puerto Rico holds its own telethon later in September and does not participate in the national Labor Day event. However, the participating TV station, WKAQ, is still considered part of the Love Network.
