I agree about her not running. For the last year or more I’ve been saying it and been attacked by some in here for stating what seems pretty obvious to many of us. Outside of her hard core base, Palin is viewed as a bad candidate. The media, with some help from Palin herself, were successful in making her into the image that they desired. Her image has been so tarnished that the most recent Rasmussen polling from last week has her losing to Obama by 17 points! No other ‘candidate’ trails Obama by more that single digits.

While Perry, Romney, and even Ron Paul poll competitively with Obama....

Aug. 11- 12 Rasmussen poll presenting hypothetical match-ups, President Barack Obama would beat her by 17 points, while Romney, Perry, Bachmann and Paul are within striking distance.

..trailing Obama by 21 points in a head-to-head McClatchy-Marist poll earlier this month; and by 14 points in a CNN/Opinion Research poll.

Isn’t the point of Checkers AND Chess to actually win? So much for that metaphor.
