At least DU's "Perry Derangement" is based on reason. They hate him because he's too conservative, too Christian, too mean, every bit the cowboy George Bush only pretended to be. Add all this to the fact that he is very much electable and DU'ers really, really hate Rick Perry! All the more reason I feel like I'm backing the right guy!
The "Perry Derangement Syndrome " on this forum is much less explainable, except to think that Perry simply threatens the political futures of people's favorite fringe and non-candidates (even when these candidates had no real political future that ended with the keys to the White House).
