Audacity as a War-Fighting Ideology

Obama's "Audacity of Hope" slogan goes back to the French Revolution, now mainly remembered for its bloodthirsty guillotine executions of the French aristocracy. As Edmund Burke wrote in his classic work Reflections on the Revolution in France, the French Revolution was all about destroying the Old Regime in pursuit of a utopian dream, while the American Revolution was about constructing a new, practical style of government. The American Constitution survives two centuries later. The French Revolution collapsed into anarchy, and was transformed by Napoleon into the first European imperial conquest since the Romans. Napoleon went on to kill tens of millions of people...

Militancy must be balanced by militancy. Politics is war by other means and the means are becoming ever more similar.

I like to think that, if you’re sharp enough, you can get your militant enemies to destroy themselves.

The French radical Pierre-Joseph Proudhon gave license to steal and destroy in socialism’s famous quote: “Property is Theft”. Always the class warfare with these ilk.

Alinsky and his followers organize their power bases without naming the end game or declaring a specific future they want to achieve. They organize to build that power base to destroy the existing society and its economic system. This base consists of the underclass and urban poor and use them as a battering ram on the society.
Policies are not important in themselves: they are a means of expanding their political base... ( from David Horowitz)

Yes, I love David Horowitz, as well. After reading this article it gave me a little chuckle to see that Palin has seemed to come through unscathed in all the Alinsky tactics the Left has thrown her way. I do feel they fear her entering the race, and even though she has thwarted their attacks by refusing to let it get to her, they would not give up. But, if anybody is up to it, I’d say she is.

America is a different place than what it was when I was as a little girl. I hope America is up to the task of putting the Left down, once and for all. We TP (terrorists...LOL!) need to get busy!

Once a pick pocket always a pick pocket.
