My son just called me saying he felt it in Cary, NC
Looks like a 5.0 or so, halfway between Richmond & Charlottesville.
I just felt it in Upstate S.C.
I’m pretty sure we did.
We felt at my office in Warrenton, and my wife just called from Culpeper.
The 120’ hydrosphere water tower behind my office was actually swaying back and forth for about 30 seconds.
Felt in Toronto, Canada. Probably Quebec or eastboard.

WTOP news is reporting 5.8 earthquake with epicenter near Mineral, Virginia (Louisa County).

First thought was ‘Must have over load the washing machine out of balance’..
Second thought was, ‘I didn’t start the washing machine..’
Third thought ‘RUN! the bay window looks like it is going to explode!’
We just had one here in Boston.
