Rationalizations don’t equate to valad reasons to quit. The only valid reasons for leaving office prematurely are physical or mental incapacitation of the office holder or a family emergency so severe that it requires the full time attention of the office holder to deal with it. Bad press, lawsuits and the threats of them, claiming her family is enduring stress, etc were rationalizations. Palin did not leave office and retire to a home in Wasilla and nurture her family. She went about boosting her brand as a marketable commodity.

Palin wanted to quit and she did just that. It is a matter of record. jmo

So....exactly how do Chris Lee, Congressman Wu, and little tony wiener fit into your "opinion"?

Next time leave that opinion up to the person who must survive.

Nothing says that politicians must be forced into bankruptcy before they can leave office. If you don’t approve, so what!
