I’m with Pajamas Media’s Michael J. Totten. The Muslim Brotherhood did NOT plan out or anticipate the “Arab Spring”. They are NOT in charge of events.
According to him the Brotherhood has proven unable to get out in front. The Brotherhood poobah he was given to interview was a comically braindead, sclerotically ideological, ranting old dolt who couldn’t inspire a rally in a phone booth.
Now that Egyptians suddenly have a plethora of political parties and information sources to choose from, the Brotherhood has become obsolete overnight and the more ambitious, energetic leaders have already jumped ship to start their own outfits.
As for Libya, they have never been a factor over there.
