deposits of gold in Libya. Also read some where that Qaddafi
was sitting on 14 tons of gold. I don’t guess that and the
timing off it all would have anything to do with it.

I’m with Pajamas Media’s Michael J. Totten. The Muslim Brotherhood did NOT plan out or anticipate the “Arab Spring”. They are NOT in charge of events.
According to him the Brotherhood has proven unable to get out in front. The Brotherhood poobah he was given to interview was a comically braindead, sclerotically ideological, ranting old dolt who couldn’t inspire a rally in a phone booth.
Now that Egyptians suddenly have a plethora of political parties and information sources to choose from, the Brotherhood has become obsolete overnight and the more ambitious, energetic leaders have already jumped ship to start their own outfits.
As for Libya, they have never been a factor over there.

Democracy is a English word with its own CHRISTIAN culture, infrastructure and all codified into English law with the cornerstone being the Magna Carta. It is a experience that is over 200o ears old and represents everything that is antithetical to Islam.
Sure they can parrot the word, but they have no basis to understand it. It does not stop at one vote for one man!

It's not as though we don't have a precedent. Israeli-Egyptian diplomacy is on a downward spiral, and the Egyptians are increasingly intolerant of religious minorities, like Christians. Arab Spring? More like Jihad Spring.

Tripoli, Cyrenia, and Fezzan are all likely to have different governing forces. The Libya we have is a forced creation of colonialism, taken over by stalinist dictatorship. Now the islamists will move in with a new deal.
Do not expect anything resembling a constitutional republic encouraging freedoms, economic growth, and participative democracy.
