That's not going to happen...the church as a whole has become soft and uneffective by their own doing... by not equipping the saints as God directed they do, rather they've become social institutes of social works and community service... but the hearts and minds are worldly. We see evidence of this in the lines being drawn in many churches today...and the splits for that. The apostate church will arise from all this and the true believers will basically go underground.
This was foretold so should not surprise us...any ingathering or uniting of churches now is done as a pre-lude to the soon to be one world religion and it's counterpart, a one world governance and monetary system.
All the uprising in the middleeast was initiated by those who know that the middle east has to also come under that governance...the Muslim Brotherhood will be a large part of the leadership once all is said and done. Which is why Obama and other nations leaders are now acknowleging them as a politcial entity....though they expect to control them...it will be for a time only.

I think this is why Mubarrak, Khaddafi and the other authoritarian leaders are being swept out of office. Turkey is also being courted into the European Union.
Sarkhozy and Merkle have spoken out against the failures of multi-culturalism in Europe but they are still supporting the Mediterranean Union. This shows that they are concerned about what is happening in Europe but feel helpless to stop it. If Sarkhozy and Merkle who are supposed to be the leaders of their countries are feeling powerless, it makes you wonder who really holds the power.
