I don't know much about the Texas governor but I respect BC and find his comments on Rick Perry and Islam provocative and definitely worthy of discussion. If, indeed, his facts and context are wrong in some way, please correct them instead of attempting to dismiss them with sneering one-liners. Thanks.

All my Texas relatives (and there are alot of them) are proud conservative Rupublicans. Without exception, they really like Perry.

There seems to be a bit of a disconnect with what I am reading from many respected FReepers. Yes, I’ve read most of the posts and many of the links, both pro and con....and I shall continue to do so.

It’s still early in the game, but right now I’m leaning Perry.
