Thanks for the ping, lucy.

As FReeper Bronxville informed us: "The gardasil vaccine was only approved about 7-9 months when Perry signed his executive order without going through the legislature - the whole thing was fast-tracked. There’s been at least one death and thousands of other side-effects from this vaccine. We’re dealing with corruption in our whole government system from the deals with Monsanto to Vaccines for some rare flu that all of a sudden just happens, and so on... We need someone in there who can fix it and that’s NOT slick Rick."

==============================================

Shining the light of truth on the present governor of Texas usually results in being labeled ‘pro-obama’ or called a ‘troll’.....and even a Paultard.

ANALYSIS Perry’s coziness with the Chinese and foreign investors exposes a huge weakness in his right flank—illegal immigration and open borders. The Trans Texas Corridor has been linked to the global plan to economically integrate North America, with the eventual goal of a common security perimeter modeled after the European Union. Perry ushered in in-state tuition for illegals and has long been an obstacle to immigration reform or any Arizona-style immigration law.

Perry has been endorsed by neocon guru (Fox talking head), Bill Kristol. Yikes. Neocons and Perry----what could possibly go wrong?

Ah, it was only yesterday (before 2010 Midterms) that Billy Kristol was humming the neocon theme song, "The Decline and Fall of American Conservatism." KRISTOL WROTE: The “art of government” is to translate the “liberal or radical impulse into enduring institutions,” which in a constitutional republic means that neocons want socialist ends to be achieved with conservative means.

==============================================

So how did Rick Perry and the neocons meet, and live happily ever after?

Remember when Rick endorsed Rooty Giuliani?

Fox talker Billy Kristol's father----neocon Irving Kristol (now deceased)----was Giuliani's "foreign policy advisor."

As Irving famously wrote: "The historical task and political purpose of neoconservatism is.....to convert the Republican Party and American conservatism in general, against their respective wills, into a new kind of conservative politics suitable to governing a modern democracy."

You know what pardner?
Nobody has stronger self identifying rights than Texans.
We’ll give anyone a chance if just for the entertainment value.

That said, Texans have assimilated so many cultures without ever losing who they are its stunning.

Sarah Palin believes in Reagan’s 11th commandment NOT to criticize fellow Republican politicians. That is a good policy for any politician.

Me? I’m a citizen and a voter, lifelong conservative Republican, and am objectively assessing Republican candidates for 2012.

Pointing out past actions of those who want to be our presidential candidate does not, in any way, equal trashing them.

I now know enough about Romney, Perry, Huntsman, and Christie, to know I will never vote for any of the four. Why?

All of them are too much like liberal Democrats. So, why should conservative Republicans vote for a liberal Democrat wannabe when you can vote for Obama?

Jim,
The thing that I have been noticing about Perry (and Romney, for that matter) is that he has to run away from his record because so many components of it are NOT conservative. Bachmann has a conservative record, so I would not challenge her policy positions. The knock on her would be lack of executive experience.
Palin is the only one who is solid on both policy and executive experience. That is the way I see it.

Did you vote for Zero in 2008??

Um, are you saying that disapproval of Perry gives you grounds for suspecting someone is a lib? Really? Because I don't like Perry either, and I'm a lifelong conservative Republican who voted for Reagan and more recently for Palin and whats-his-name, with a whole lot of nose-holding in between. Methinks your "obot detector" needs some serious recalibration.

I’ve lived in Texas. Part of my family lives there. Nice folks - Texans are wonderful people.

My observations about Gov.Perry have nothing to do with Texans themselves or the state. Since it seems the majority of Texans like him as Governor, I wish you all well.

To my way of thinking, Rick Perry lacks the principles to be President of the U.S.A. I am no longer just listening to what a candidate says, I am now looking closely at how they governed in the past.

(If you read my posts, you’ll notice I do not call candidates or their supporters names. I think it rude to do so, “bubba backers” being an example.)

Well, that tells us a lot.

Yes.

Mostly that you either can't or won't do your own research.

Great post with an abundance of facts supporting a reasonable opposition to the Perry candidacy. But that won’t matter to the Perry apologists. They’ll post a list of things he has said or done that they think makes him a conservative. What they don’t get we reject any conservative who supports liberal causes. I know I could never vote for one who did.

You are aware that the original charge came from Salon.com and Perry received an award called: Defender of Jerusalem Award.
Just more info for your consideration.

“Sarah Palin believes in Reagan’s 11th commandment NOT to criticize fellow Republican politicians.”

Crapola, It’s one thing to not trash a fellow Republican, it’s another to heap praise upon him or her.

This statement is a talking point that doesn’t pass muster. It’s getting tiresome.

You all are going to soil yourself when Sarah endorse him.
