He's been mouthing off since at least 1999, when he wrote "Don't Eat Before Reading This" for The New Yorker magazine. That's the article that was expanded to become the best-selling book, "Kitchen Confidential."

I'll continue to buy his books and watch his shows. And I'd love to spend the day with him - disagreeing with him on virtually everything.

I was going by his wiki entry that he was mouthing off about Food Network stars back in 2007. I'm not a fan of his - I think he's pretentious and rude. I know a liberal who allows her very young daughter to watch him and I think it's disgusting - he comes across as smarmy to me.

We're back in Texas, thankfully - I loved PA but grew very tired of being surrounded by liberals.
