Since the procedure, I have not seen the Doctor that tried this procedure, I have seen 4 other Cardiologist, who came to see me, but the original Doctor is a no show.I have the biggest deep purple bruise from my waist line to my scrotum, and it really looks bad. They told me to come home and take it easy for a few days.

I'm not a doctor and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. My guess is that the artery they were fishing the stent through may have been compromised resulting in the bruising.

They're probably not telling you because then that would be admitting fault. The MIA doctor is probably in hiding.

I suggest getting a good lawyer and have him deal with it.

I’m by no means a doctor...I do have extensive experience with stents from a patients perspective...

Sounds like something went wrong...They had all the cardiologists come and check you out to see if they could agree that you will be ok...

The bruise is probably blood that leaked from the artery and pooled uner your skin, possibly after the wall of the artery was accidentially punctured...

When it happened to me, I went immediately into emergency surgery...Quadruple bypass...

Apparently your situation didn’t warrant that...They monitored you for a couple of days to make sure blood pressure and every thing was steady...

You likely will be ok but if anything changes, or if you are stressed about it, go to the emergency room...You might get some general information about it or even specific information from the ER physician who will be able to access your recent records...

Unfortunately it’s the weekend so pursing any information will be difficult...
