And getting stoned on drugs isn't?

Where do you draw the line? Is it immoral to eat beyond satiety? Is it immoral to sit and play video games so long that you get a clot in your leg? These are victimless crimes. Neither the law nor God will punish you for overindulging in an activity that involves no victim other than oneself. To declare that getting stoned is immoral is just arbitrary. Believe it if you like, but you have no right to impose that belief on others.

There is a commandment that says "You shall have no other gods before me." Drugs do that, to the user they put nothing before getting them.

Drug addiction is a physical addiction. Do you realize that there are addicts who never even chose to take the drug in the first place? Wives whose husbands tied them down and injected them with heroin, for example. Personally I would not compare drug addiction to devotion to God.

I'm not going to comment about the abortion case, because you insist on referring to Ron Paul as "surrender monkey." You plainly hate the man, so there's no point even discussing this issue with you.

My father served during WWII and Korea, my son served and was almost killed in Iraq, and I served during Viet Nam. I do not like anybody who hates America and blames her for every problem in the world like Ron Paul does.
If he had lived during the Revolutionary War or War of 1812 he would have sided with the British. He would have sided with Hitler during WWII. He would have NEVER retaliated against Japan, (He would have said their attack on Pearl Harbor was our fault like he did with 9/11).
No I do not like any surrender monkey who wants to put his head in the sand and feels if he appeases our enemies enough they will leave us alone. Bullies do not go after the strong, they go after cowards, and cut and run is the king of cowards.
