This is a widely distributed falsehood. Cone does not mention communism or Marxism in this foundation books on Black Liberation Theology. Cone says that it is based on Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. It has very little MLK, except a facade of Christianity and a lot of Malcolm’s Black Nationalism. It is a black nationalist doctrine. Marxism/Communism is not based on race, but Black Liberation Theology is fundamentally based on race.

This is a widely distributed falsehood.

I first saw Liberation Theology up close and personal in the mid 1980's in NM. I have no illusions about what it is. Back then when I was politically active, we did battle with them locally.I have never had first hand contact with Black Liberation Theology, but if you look at those who profess it, it is revealing. Marxists of all stripes surround Obozo and were in his church that Rev. Wright spewed his hatred from. I see no evidence it is different than I suggested. I have never read the writings of Cone and don't intend to.

Perhaps, but rev.wright, that crazy old uncle of Barry for twenty years of indoctrination with Mrs. Robinson and her children, certainly has joined the two quite easily in right’s church since [all] ‘Liberation Theology’ is built upon Marxism.

Glad to see you are here Roger-SD!

I think I linked some of your links here myself.

Keep up the Good fight!

Cone is allowed somehow to explain away his blatant racism by suggesting that his ‘Black’ is the ‘Social Justice’ (black) and White is only describing the ‘struggle’ against the power...

Wink-Wink...

4 Sure.
