Black Liberation Theology

Liberation Theology is Communism in a very thin religious wrapper. Black Liberation Theology is the same with racism added.

This is a widely distributed falsehood. Cone does not mention communism or Marxism in this foundation books on Black Liberation Theology. Cone says that it is based on Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. It has very little MLK, except a facade of Christianity and a lot of Malcolm’s Black Nationalism. It is a black nationalist doctrine. Marxism/Communism is not based on race, but Black Liberation Theology is fundamentally based on race.

This is a widely distributed falsehood.

I first saw Liberation Theology up close and personal in the mid 1980's in NM. I have no illusions about what it is. Back then when I was politically active, we did battle with them locally.I have never had first hand contact with Black Liberation Theology, but if you look at those who profess it, it is revealing. Marxists of all stripes surround Obozo and were in his church that Rev. Wright spewed his hatred from. I see no evidence it is different than I suggested. I have never read the writings of Cone and don't intend to.

The other thing is Communism is atheistic and not spiritual. Black Liberation Theology is a religion and is spiritual. To say that Black Liberation Theology is a racist and spiritual version of Communism is like saying a kangaroo is a man with a tail that can hop.

“This is a widely distributed falsehood. Cone does not mention communism or Marxism in this foundation books on Black Liberation Theology.”

Perhaps, but rev.wright, that crazy old uncle of Barry for twenty years of indoctrination with Mrs. Robinson and her children, certainly has joined the two quite easily in right’s church since [all] ‘Liberation Theology’ is built upon Marxism.

Glad to see you are here Roger-SD!

I think I linked some of your links here myself.

Keep up the Good fight!

Cone is allowed somehow to explain away his blatant racism by suggesting that his ‘Black’ is the ‘Social Justice’ (black) and White is only describing the ‘struggle’ against the power...

Wink-Wink...

“Cone says that it is based on Malcolm X and Martin Luther King. It has very little MLK, except a facade of Christianity and a lot of Malcolm’s Black Nationalism.”

4 Sure.

If you haven’t studied what it is, you are just talking out your ass then. There is a long tradition of Black Theology in the US and Caribbean. BLT comes from that tradition and not from Peru, with which blacks in America have historically had no contact. I am surrounded by Vietnamese, but that doesn’t make me Vietnamese.

spiritual

Spiritualism is not a religion and certainly not Christianity. Some Satanists claim they are Spiritual. I have yet to meet a "Liberation Theology" proponent who is a serious Christian. There were whole Catholic Churches that were proponents in Central and South America. They acted in direct defiance of the leadership of that Church. In the 1980's they gave support to the Sandanistas in Nicaragua which allowed Daniel Ortega and his brother Humberto to come to power there, in return for establishing CEBs where the Church controlled every part of the community. I was told if you asked where the Catholic Church was in much of Nicaragua at the time the reply you would receive is: "only the communists go to the Catholic Church"

Nice try, but no cigar.

Hey Bro.

Forgive me, but when you make statements like “If you haven’t studied what it is, you are just talking out your ass then.” You really don’t seem much different ‘response wise’ then when r. Wright was on the O’Hannity show and hounded Sean as to if he had studied Cone and others.

Did you see that episode/clip?

Because Black Liberation Theology has “Liberation Theology” in the name does not mean that it is derivative of that any more than my name “Roger-SD” means that I am a relative of “Roger Hedgecock,” who lives in San Diego. That is just very simplistic reasoning.

If people aren’t going to take the time to research what it is, they really should not be muddying the waters with their opinions. That is just a waste of your and others time.

Black Liberation Theology is a branch of the racist black theology of black nationalism, which includes the Nation of Islam and a number of other black sects, such as the Nuwaubians, Nation of Gods and Earths, etc. It mainly traces it’s roots back to the Marcus Garvey movement, HQ’d in New York city and not to Peru. That’s kind of ludicrous.

Liberation Theology really didn’t get started until the 1970’s also, in South America. BLT was canonized in the 1960’s right here in the USA.

My, my, my. Not very civil. Just because I have not and will not read things by Cone, it suddenly makes me uninformed. hee hee hee

If you are unsure what Communism is you should read this: http://torturedforchrist.com/remember/ The testimony of Rev. Richard Wurmbrand, and he displays the scars to show his "Doctor in Communism.”

It’s just the truth. If you aren’t studied and not willing to research it, it not really worth my effort. I might as well be talking to kindergarten kids.

Hannity really showed his ignorance in that interview of Jeremiah Wright. Wright told him exactly were to go to find out what BLT is all about and the ignoramus still hasn’t figured it out as far as I can tell. Hannity care more about his holding his hair in place that the subjects that he talks about.

Ok Bro. But you are among FRiends here and of course we might get a bit defensive when we are called kindergarten kids. OK?

I would be curious what your opinion is of this video from Cao.

It’s The Theology Stupid!

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5921629142284078851

Watch the whole film to see the breaking news and completely understand Black Liberation Theology (and learn why white people can’t be saved) It is not jus Rev Wright Barack Obama and Farrakhan use identical rhetoric over and over. (Not just sound bites but entire concepts) Obama in speeches to predominantly African American audiences covers every aspect of Black Liberation Theology even admitting in 2007 that Trinity is perceived as a separatist church James Cone, the founder of Black Liberation Theology, says white people cannot be Christians Reverend Otis Moss III, the new pastor at Obama’s church calls white people the enemy, and says Malcolm x is the greatest cultural icon of the twentieth century Farrakhan calls Barack Obama the Messiah Watch the whole film to understand why both Michelle and Barack Obama put down America as part of their theology Once you see the whole film the connection between Wright, Obama and Farrakhan makes sense. Watch this entire movie to understand how a presidential Candidate completely embraces Black Separatist, Black Power, and Nation of Islam, Black Liberation Theology and anti American ideas Please pass this film on!!!! As alternative media we are committed to stopping the pundits and news commentators from framing this as a “Pastor Disaster” Barrack Obama completly understands and uses the words and concepts of Black Liberation Theology

I think she did a fabulous job. What say you?

I find that it is never a good idea to waste too much time with people that take pride in being ignorant of the subject at hand.

In my opinion, that is one of the best clips on YouTube of that time about Black Liberation Theology. I downloaded it a couple of years ago and recently re-posted it myself on YouTube. That was one of the things that made me look deeper into it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7XMNEvDPUA

It shows that Black Liberation Theology is closely related to the Nation of Islam, which is not really Islam, but a cult-like black sect, masquerading as Islam, much like Obama’s church’s doctrine is a black nationalist sect, masquerading as Christianity.

SoNSanDiego is my YouTube Channel and Impeach Obama Tea Party is one of my FB pages.

It is reasonable to think that Obama believes in BLT theology, because he was in that sect for 20 years and he never did repudiate it. He just let Wright take the blame, as if it was just Wright’s personal opinion.

There are degrees of racism. BLT is not just racist, but is genocidal in its concept. That should have been fully explained to the public. To say it is Marxism, just clouds the issue. It’s actually worse that Marxism. The concept is like a black version of Nazism.’

It is helpful to read about the Nation of Islam and other black nationalist groups, because they all have similar doctrines, but other groups are more outspoken about it. Wright’s church is sort of like the diplomatic corps of the black nationalist movement.
