Weve got a good field, Rove said last night on Hannity. I dont think it is the end, though, of the field. I think we are likely to see several other candidates think seriously about getting in. I think Palin is gonna seriously look at it. [She] has got a pretty active schedule in September. I think Chris Christie and Paul Ryan are gonna look at it again Im starting to pick up some sort of vibrations that these kind of conversations are causing Christie and Ryan to tell the people who are calling them, you know what, I owe it to you, Ill take a look at it.
As Rove pointed out, all three technically have more than enough time to make a decision Nov. 22 is the first deadline to secure a spot on the ballot. And, at this point, all three have a better idea of what, exactly, theyd be up against. With Tim Pawlenty out and Rick Perry in, the race of governors looks far different than it did a week ago. It cant be lost on Christie just what an advantage his governorship in a blue state like New Jersey would be in a match-up with Perry, for example. As Ryan watched last weeks debate, he must surely have been struck by the lack of any substantive discussion of entitlement reform. No moderator of a debate that starred the architect of the House budget would have failed to ask an entitlement question. And Palin continues to engender more excitement than any candidate currently in the field with the possible exception of Perry (as the mob that followed her at the Iowa State Fair last week proves).

Rove is mad at Perry. On Fox right now dissing him....predictable Rove....petty, small man....
Rove dissing Perry can only help him.
Rove dissing Perry can only help him.
I laughed at that. It was so clear that Rove had his panties in a twist because Perry is trying to be a non bush.
Poor Turdblossom...nobody’s giving him enough love.
I caught a snippet of Rove and had to switch channels.
What a negative, nit-picking nitwit he is.
Rove always took credit for George Bush’s successes - but did nothing to thwart the MSM’s relentless attacks on GW.
Self serving sychophant!
(And Perry did not say Bernanke was treasonous - he said “IF” they print money - that WOULD BE treasonous!! -big difference)
Karl, do you need a sign? “Don’t feed Christie.”
I saw that on Hannity last night and Rove just popped up again on Fox “America’s Newsroom” show repeating basically the same points he made last night. Any of us could have speculated the same things about Ryan, Christie, and Palin.
Rove seems almost desperate to sound relevent. His day has past. With the swipe at Perry, I’m convinced Rove is just bitter about his diminished role in conservative politics.
Body snatchers from the planet Rino got him long ago.

He longs for the days when people believed he had strategized a way to keep permanent Republican majorities. That worked out. /s
Funny, as I was reading this Fox was announcing that Ryan is mulling throwing his hat in the ring.
I’m not a Perry fan and there is something about Bachman I just don’t trust...can’t place my finger on it. With what I know about them now, I really like Palin, Ryan and Cain. Although I’m not sure any of them (not combined with another) could win.
Bottom feeding "conservative" talk host Todd Schnitt was attacking Perry yesterday because he prayed for our leaders. He compared Perry's expression of faith to "snake handlers." He wasn't done there. He attacked Bachmann on religious grounds and Palin too. Said all three are loony. Who is his great white hope? None other than... Christ Christie!
If Rove pulls Christie into the race as the Bush establishment choice there's going to be hell to pay.
What does Rove actually want telling his half truths?
Rove is in the bag for RINO Romney. He bad mouths everyone else.
As for Christie and Ryan, bring em on. A strong primary field cannot hurt. Ryan knows more about the budget process than anyone in Congress. And I would love to see a debate between Christie and Obama. Christie is very quick on his feet.
This grass root sure hopes Ryan reconsiders and gets into the mix. No one explains the spending reform message better and more clearly than he. In order to work our way out of the mess we are in, we need leadership that, rather than playing to the crowd, can understand and articulate the severity of our current situation, and the steps needed to correct our current course. A Ryan-Rubio ticket would sew up the White House for the next 16 years and give us time to get back on track.
Typical Tokyo Rove. Trying to stir the pot. Nobody wants Chris Christie. If you want a RINO just vote for Romney. Paul Ryan is too young and he’s not real interested. Rove doesn’t want Perry because of the Bush Perry rivalry and he’s not going to say anything bad about Bachmann but I’m sure Tokyo is not rooting for a woman candidate. I still don’t know why Fox has not gotten rid of him.
