(1) This is LIFE. We don't have leagues. We all play. Bench sitters do not exist. Somehow, someway, we, each and all of use, every one, are a part of the game.

(4) I hear all the yapping from "vets" and sometimes form them still in the service about how they were ready to to give the greatest sacrifice (as if no other profession or job or duty includes such mortal risks), but here's a man -- a senior Sargent who is walking right into harm's way eyes wide open. Why the heck are you knocking him?
