I’m so sick of Rand. Rand was not a conservative. She was a self-described “radical for capitalism.” Conservatives are altruists. They just don’t believe in accomplishing “altruism” by massive programs of systematized theft.
Rand, in her critique of Marxism, went to the opposite nutjob extreme of extolling greed (of a capitalist, rather than socialist, variety) as a virtue.
