“Problem here is that the mother was never issued a passport at that time. This is factual. So she leaves the US and goes to Kenya without a passport?”

Where do you come up with that?

When the the State Dept released Stanley Ann’s records, they said that everything before 1965 had been destroyed in the 80’s according to procedure (even though procedure states that they need to retain such records for 100 years).

Of the records that were released, the first is a renewal in 1965, which implies that Stanley Ann DID have a passport in 1960.

Just got a response from University of Miami Libraries.

*Thank you for your interest in the Special Collections at the University of Miami Libraries. The Pan American World Airways, Inc. Records consists of over 1,600 boxes of materials documenting the history and operations of the now defunct airline.

Unfortunately, the Pan Am Collection does not contain any flight manifests or passenger lists, unless there was a crash or any technical problems on the flight. Just to double check, I did a search on Malcolm X in the inventory for the collection, but did not have any results.

Sometimes researchers get lucky and find something related to a specific individual, but it often involves in-depth research, and we cannot guarantee that the information that you seek is in the collection.
