One woman did survive the shooting and is currently at Akron General hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Copley Police Chief Michael Mier says the first 9-1-1 call came in around 11 am Sunday morning about shots fired in the area of Schocalog Road and Goodenough Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found multiple people shot at at least four different locations - on both Schocalog Road and Goodenough Avenue.
Neighbors tell NewsChannel 5 the gunman may have targeted one family, but police have not released anything about the suspect or what may have led to the shooting.

IMHO, I think all this “hope and change” and “fundamental transformation” BS is really getting to people.

This is kind of a suburban/rural neighborhood.

It is not insanity, it is desperation and loss of family values.Loss of jobs and self respect. These shooters see themselves as failures and blame it on others. We have been led to believe that it is always someone Else's fault we have failed. We are told it is not our fault, put the blame elsewhere. and in so doing many put the blame on family members. Also, words and actions have consequences. Too many people think they can get abusive in someones face because it is their rite. Well, it may be their rite but it could also mean their demise.

I see it was moved from ‘General’ to ‘Bloggers and Personal’.
I would think a story like this this would warrant a position in the main/general forum.

get in their faceshmm, seems I've heard that somewhere.
Oh yes. Obama told his people to "get in their faces" and something about bringing a gun to a knife fight.
Pretty much Obama's fault. At least he instigates violence.

Not rural. More like city neighborhoods. East half is going downhill fast as sprawl of the usual problem invades from West Akron

It will likely end up drug related. A lot of heroin runs through the Coply Road area.
